STATUS UPDATE ON CHILI MAFIA 😉
Dear Backers,
We hope you are all doing super fine. Let's jump right in and start with the most important update: we are on schedule for a May delivery! Games are waiting to be cargo shipped, and rest assured, you'll be the first to know once Chili Mafia sets sail.
SHIPPING, TAXES & CREDIT CARD INFORMATION 🤓
We just would like to remind you that shipping and taxes (if applicable) will be charged closer to fulfilment (around April-May). In the meantime, feel free to change your delivery address if need be. Don't worry, you will have plenty of occasions to do so, as we will update you several times before sending out your game.
As mentioned in a previous update, BackerKit needs to re-collect credit card information from some of you. Should you receive an email from them, please follow the steps, as the information will be required to settle outstanding shipping fees.
CMON TO PUBLISH CHILI MAFIA 🥳
Now, this is something special! And guess what? You all are a part of this journey as well! CMON Asia contacted us during the campaign and asked if they could publish Chili Mafia in Asia. We did end up signing with them, so Chili Mafia will soon be available in certain regions of Asia.
Thank you again for making this game and campaign a success. Without you, Chili Mafia probably couldn't have sparked the interest of such an amazing publisher as CMON. We did not forget about you! The rulebooks of this edition will also include a thank you note to all 734 of you!

Once again we'd like to give our special thanks to all the hard-working volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to translating Chili Mafia into their own languages! We recently came across a campaign that brings us organic Chili Pepper subscription boxes. If you are interested in experiencing the amazing flavor, and heat of the rarest chili peppers on the planet, grown organically by Robyn Jasko in Kutztown, PA, check out their campaign. We found it super cool. Or shall we say, hot? 😜

HEADS UP! MASS PRODUCTION IS FINISHED! ☝️
Hey dear Backers,
If you follow us on social media, you probably saw our New Year's greetings. If not, let us tell you that we wholeheartedly hope you all had a great year, and would like to wish you a playful 2022 that's full of pleasant surprises! 😉
How was last year for us? Well, it was definitely an emotional rollercoaster! 🎢 Excitement, joy, fear, hope, love, surprise, anger, happiness, fatigue, and the list goes on. What's probably the most important is that all in all we are happy. We would also like to tell you that for us, the biggest highlight of 2021 was this campaign! And guess what?
You all were a part of that.
You encouraged us.
You made this campaign a success.
You are the ones from 2021 we are the most thankful for!
Having said that, we prepared a little surprise video for you, that no one else has seen yet! We just received the mass production copy of all Chili Mafia components, which means, this is exactly what you'll get! We are still making a few upgrades though (like including a removable paper box insert to fill up space dedicated for the playmat), but this is your mass produced game with all the components! We know you are eager to receive your copy of Chili Mafia, so here we go:

WHAT'S NEXT?
We gave our feedback to the manufacturer to make a few adjustments, which are being implemented. In January all games and components will be assembled, packaged, put into carton boxes, and placed on pallets. Freight shipment is scheduled for February (originally scheduled for January), but we are still confident to say we are on schedule for deliveries in May!

As promised, we'd like to update you on manufacturing before the holidays. For your information, all game components are now printed and being assembled, getting ready to set sail to the fulfilment centers in January!

BACKERKIT SHIPPING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION EMAIL❗
Many of you messaged us regarding the email that BackerKit sent to some of you recently about updating your credit card information on their platform. We would like to confirm the validity of this email and the bug that they discovered in their system. Please see the email we received from them about this:
'This is XYZ from the Success team at BackerKit. I am reaching out to let you know we discovered an issue with the beta feature “Charge Shipping Later” that is enabled on Chili Mafia. This feature is supposed to collect payment information for all backers who have physical items, but we discovered a bug that allows backers to bypass the payments page, resulting in backers with no stored payment information.
We want to be transparent and let you know how we are fixing this. Starting this week we will be emailing backers if they have physical items and no credit card information stored. We will repeat this process once a week until all backers have provided payment information. Please note that we will never email a backer that has updated payment information, so we will not be spamming anyone.'
To sum up, BackerKit failed to store the credit card information of some Backers. This information will be required to offset shipping and any applicable tax charges before Chili Mafia is sent to you. Now, we would like to emphasize that NO CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED WITHOUT US INFORMING YOU ABOUT THE EXACT SHIPPING AND TAX RATES FIRST! We are still working hard to get the best rates possible for you guys. These are hard times but we have faith that we will be able to provide you reasonable shipping rates. ⚓ Please expect to receive an update on shipping and tax rates in January-February!

At Lemery Games we hope you are all doing really great and look forward to celebrating Christmas this year as much as we do! 🎅❤️
Let us share what happened since our last update! We believe in perfection and want to deliver the best possible game to you. And this isn't easy! No matter how prepared we were to tackle the difficulties of production, we were still surprised just how many tiny little details can go wrong if one isn't precise enough. These past weeks we were busy making various colour and typographic adjustments to the print files as whenever we were done correcting a hiccup, a new one came up in the next review round. Just to mention a few, we've put together some before/after images so you can see the difference. But before all that, please allow us to send you our usual personal video update to sum it up, and to show you some cool stuff that's happening in manufacturing:

Many of you voted for their next preferred destination in the Globetrotter Game Series. Guess where you're going next, Agents? NEPAL! It was a tight race, with the following results:

Chili Mafia is available for pre-orders on our website for a limited time. If someone you know missed the campaign, they can still get their hands on this hot deck. Why is Chili Mafia still available for pre-orders? Manufacturers have minimum order quantities, so we are only selling these limited remainders of inventory online. This will also allow us as a super small business to continuously improve the quality of our service, and to bring better and better games to you!

3 months ago we pushed that 'Launch now' button on Kickstarter without really knowing what to expect. We were thrilled to see the excitement you showed for our first project. Ever since then you supported us in numerous ways and we once again would like to thank you for that! It's been a one-of-a-kind journey for us, and we look forward to continuing down this road with you all. 🤗
We've once again reached a milestone.
At midnight (PST) we'll close the BackerKit pledge manager and lock your orders, so we can start manufacturing. (Please note that unless you complete your survey, we won't be able to send you the game. Lost your survey? Please send us a message asap!).
This is the last chance to include add-ons with your order at the discounted Kickstarter rates!
Once we lock your orders, you won't be able to change or add items to your cart anymore, and our manufacturer will start production based on the number of your purchased items. (Please note that at this point we'll only lock your orders and not your addresses! So, if need be, you can still change your address in the coming months. Credit cards will be charged (for your BackerKit orders) in the coming days. As mentioned before, taxes and shipping will be charged closer to fulfilment.)
