QUICK SHIPPING UPDATE ✈️

US addresses: once addresses are locked, we'll provide all necessary information to the fulfilment center so they can start shipping, as per their latest feedback, early June. In our last update we informed you that 5 carton boxes were lost during delivery. They still haven't been found. We know just how much you are all waiting to get your copy of Chili Mafia, so we already asked our manufacturer to remake those lost products and send them to the US warehouse by Fedex air. This does add a significant cost, which we didn't plan for, but our no1 priority is for you to get the game asap! We are still investigating what went wrong, and hope the reliable party will compensate us for the damages.

Addresses outside the US: we decided to fulfil all orders that came from outside the US, from the EU warehouse due to the 5 carton boxes that are missing from the US warehouse. We have just enough products to cover all these orders, but again, our priority is to send the games to you the soonest possible. This weekend is packaging time with our families! They offered to help so we can package all these orders in the coming days, and hand over all boxes to the fulfilment center, who will start delivering them early June.

FULFILMENT STARTS SOON😍 LOCKING ADDRESSES🔒

Dear Backers,

We hope you are all fine, and getting ready for summer time. Not sure how hot this summer is going to be, but we can promise, whichever days of these following months you'll spend playing Chili Mafia will definitely feel super hot! 🌶️😜

Today, we bring some great, and some less great news. We were expecting the European shipment (that concerns countries to be fulfilled from the European warehouse) to arrive later this month, but to our biggest pleasant surprise, they arrived today safe and sound, and will start shipping early June! 🥳

US shipment arrived at the end of April. As they've been super busy, we only recently received the report from the fulfilment center (Funagain Logistics) about incoming products, and unfortunately some boxes are missing. 95 carton boxes were sent, and they only counted 90. However, as per UPS tracking, all 95 were delivered, so we are still investigating this! Funagain Logistics will start shipping games early June to most US addresses, but due to the missing carton boxes, some orders will be fulfilled once the missing products are found or in a worst case scenario, manufactured again. Given this, we decided to absorb some additional costs and fulfil more countries from the EU warehouse to minimise the number of delayed shipments. We will definitely keep you posted, but please let us know if you have any questions about this!

As we are getting closer to fulfilment, please verify your address in BackerKit. This is the only way for us to make sure your game reaches you! Haven't filled in your address yet or lost your BackerKit link to verify your address? Recover your survey through this link! 

US addresses: your cargo reached the mainland and is en route to the warehouse. We'll keep you posted about deliveries, once the fulfilment center confirms the dates. 

Addresses outside the USA: your cargo is also on its way, and still expected to arrive in the warehouse towards the end of May. Stay tuned!

SHIPPING & TAXES

These past days we worked on applying shipping and taxes to your orders. As mentioned before, we decided to absorb a great deal of the increase in shipping costs, and managed to keep promised shipping prices at the rate we communicated during the campaign. In addition, we decided not to charge any extra shipping fees for add-ons! Let us know if you have any outstanding questions regarding shipping and taxes, and please note that applied rates will soon be charged.

After the last unpleasant update, in just 3 weeks, things seem to be back on track! Krisztina had a successful knee surgery and is recovering, Chili Mafia set sail, we celebrated our birthdays, and so on!

US addresses: the cargo left the warehouse to sail across the ocean, and expected to arrive in port on April 10th. This should allow us enough time to deliver your games in May! You can follow the vessel through this link.

Addresses outside the USA: your games are also on their way, and expected to arrive in the warehouse towards the end of May. Please prepare for a June delivery!

A TOUGH MONTH - WE STAY POSITIVE 🤞

DEAR BACKERS,

We are back with our March update about the progress of Chili Mafia fulfilment. The past few weeks were super tough for Lemery Games. As we promised full transparency and honesty, we would like to start by a status update: all games were in carton boxes, ready to be picked up for cargo shipment 3 weeks ago, when the manufacturer was forced to go into lockdown due to COVID-19 spreading across the region. Just recently the whole region of Shenzen, China (where the games were manufactured) went into lockdown. Factories got closed, transportation is stalled throughout the region. We are in contact with the manufacturer daily about the situation, and eagerly waiting for restrictions to be eased. We are very sorry for this inconvenience as we were doing our best to get the games to you the soonest possible. A few words from us before we continue:

SCAM CASE CLOSED 😓

Back in October we shared an update with you about the unfortunate event that happened to us. For those of you who haven't heard about it: we were victims of a transfer fraud when sending the down payment to the manufacturer. After having spent endless hours on the phone and just desperately waiting for the case to move forward, we just received an update from Bank of America saying that 'Unfortunately, the attempt to recover the funds was not successful. We now consider this inquiry closed.' Now, this is sad, and is definitely a setback for Lemery Games, but we keep pushing no matter what! You can count on us to deliver Chili Mafia and continue the Globetrotter Game Series as planned. ☝️

POOR KRISZTINA 🤕

If the above news weren't enough for these past weeks, we have another one to share. Krisztina is a professional volleyball player and last week during a game her knee ligament got torn. We are still waiting for results to see if she needs surgery. Stay safe everyone and do take care! No matter how hard this period is, we will get over it. Until then, Tamas faces new challenges at home:

We’d like to close today’s update with a note to raise awareness about the unfortunate events taking place in Ukraine that really shocked us these past weeks. We would like to express our compassion to the nation of Ukraine, and sincerely hope they can go back to living their lives very soon! Let’s all pray for PEACE!
