We’d like to thank you again for the amazing Chili Mafia campaign. We trust you are enjoying the game! We also would like to thank you, as many of you joined our second campaign, Bagh Chal.
Back in 2019, we created Lemery Games with passion. A passion for games and traveling. It is thanks to your continued support that we can keep publishing games, and we will always be grateful for that! In the past 2.5 years we believe we learned and developed a lot thanks to your feedback and the experience of delivering 2 Kickstarter campaigns. We also decided that from now on all our campaigns will aim to have a positive social impact even after fulfilment. And the next game in the Globetrotter Series, Reviving Kathmandu, is no exception!
Introducing the Globetrotter Series Volume 2: Reviving Kathmandu!
Based on your votes, after Mexico, youare flying to Nepal, to revive the earthquake-hit city of Kathmandu. In this bidding and set collection game for 2-6 players, you'll compete to build prestigious monuments and become Kathmandu's most accomplished architect! We prepared a short video for you to introduce the game and its components. Wait for it! 😉
Reviving Kathmandu is based on a real-life event, and we made it a project that does not only offer a great game, but also helps those in need. To support the reconstruction of schools in Nepal after the 2015 earthquake, Lemery Games will use its own funds to donate $1 after each Reviving Kathmandu game sold on Kickstarter to All Hands and Hearts NGO's Nepal relief program.
Given the recent course of devastating events that happened in Turkey/Syria, we are united in support at Lemery Games and constantly checking with All Hands and Hearts how we could allocate some funds to their Turkey relief program as well.

BAGH CHAL LAUNCHING ON WEDNESDAY! 🐐🐅
In our previous update we announced an upcoming awareness campaign about Bagh Chal, the ancient game of Nepal that is currently on the brink of extinction. We are trying to get this great little abstract strategy game to as many hands as possible, so it can be preserved for future generations. That's why, the Kickstarter we are launching this Wednesday will be a 'PAY WHAT YOU WANT' campaign. We also prepared a video just for you to showcase the game components, and tell you a bit more about the game. Enjoy, and let us know if you have and questions!
Recently we received a message from Chester, one of the Backers of Chili Mafia, telling us that he designed an insert to hold all the cards sleeved in the box! The insert has walls to separate the expansion from the rest of the base game as well as hot properties, promo cards, and player aids. How cool is that? We cannot express how happy we are, that given what's going on in the world, and the obstacles we faced these past months, only 2 weeks after the promised delivery date, more than 90% of orders are now fulfilled! We keep saying that quality is one of our biggest priorities. So in order to improve, we prepared a COMMUNITY BOARD, to collect all your feedback. We already added some of the lessons learnt. We are also very curious what you all think, and can suggest for future campaigns, so we can bring you even better projects. (Feel free to leave your feedback without a name.) The sheet also includes some ideas for blank cards (that you received if you purchased the 'Rumble' promo pack), and a tab for solo mode ideas if some of you had one. We already have an enthusiastic Backer who will most probably share his solo mode idea with you.
HEADS UP EVERYONE! A few months ago we came across the ancient abstractstrategygame of Nepal (Bagh Chal), and learned that it is on the brink of extinction!? 🤯 So, before launching the next game in the Globetrotter Game Series (Reviving Kathmandu), we decided to popularise, and try and preserve this authentic game for future generations. We consulted locals about the official rules, gave the game a fresh design, included quality components while making it pocket-sized, and made it affordable for everyone! Hello Everyone!
We are back with a super cool, and short update. We hope you are just as excited to receive your copy of Chili Mafia as much as we are to send it to you!
US BACKERS: the preliminary invoice has been paid to the fulfilment center, and they are ready to ship your games! The contents of the 5 missing carton boxes that we had remanufactured are on their way by Fedex, and should reach the warehouse early next week. Once these arrive, the folks at Funagain Logistics will pack and ship your games!
ALL BACKERS OUTSIDE THE US: your games are being shipped as we speak! Some are already on their way, and should reach all of you by the middle of this month. We will be monitoring all packages, but in case you feel your package should already have reached you, please don't hesitate to contact us!
We are confident that the rulebook of Chili Mafia is very well written. Emily Willix, the best rulebook editor and proofreader (at least in our opinion! ☺️) helped us build it. However, we know from experience that watching a 'How to play' video is super helpful, and we also recommend that you watch it, before playing Chili Mafia.
